Chief Financial Officer 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance to drive the success of Theia Productions and North Star Studios.

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to ensure the organizations' financial health and sustainability.

• Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors to support decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.

• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment activities to optimize financial resources.

• Oversee financial reporting and prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring transparency and accountability.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production teams, legal, and HR, to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.

• Manage relationships with external partners, including banks, auditors, and financial institutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA/CMA qualification preferred.

• Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or a similar financial leadership role within the entertainment industry.

• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

• Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

• Excellent understanding of financial regulations, tax compliance, and industry-specific financial practices.

• Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

• Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing finance teams.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

• High ethical standards and integrity when handling financial matters.
